Which would be Surprising?
The money system is used in the corruption of other systems.
The reduction of the complexity of real value to a simple scalar, is where the slippage in the transmission of real value occurs.
System rot, the corruption of the foundations, leads to surprises. History will end up using the surprising parts as landmarks.
The same corruption, which money lends itself to, is also the most trusted part of the equation, from the point of view of those taking advantage of the corrupt system. There is a great dependency put upon what is essentially a cynical interpretation of human nature.
The Palestinians (and others) are crying out for humanity to stand up against the genocides, to stand up as humanity. There is an asking that humanity respond. The ones using their cynical view of us in order to corrupt the systems of civilization by which we live, are are trusting that humanity will not respond.
The bottom line motivating factor in the genocides is that they are anticipated to be profitable.
This is the same age-old predatory, murderous, instinct that we inherit in the older parts of our nervous system. This is the part that civilization seeks to put in its place so that that a more populated existence is possible. Genocide is uncivilized.
Wherever money it is that facilitates these genocides, whether it be the purchase of weapons, or the purchase of Senators and Congresspeople, humanity can respond by rejecting such transactions. It can be done at a state level, and it can be done at a local, personal, level.
Which would be more surprising: that humanity does respond, or that it does not?
